Violin and Piano Concert

Joshua will be performing in an intimate concert with violinist Josiah Steiner, on Saturday, July 25 at Hammer and Strings Conservatory in Gilbert, AZ. Venue info can be found here: https://hammerandstrings.com/contact

The duo concert will consist of Beethoven’s Violin Sonata No. 5, “Spring”; Brahms’ Sonata for Violin and Piano No. 2 in A Major, Op. 100; and Arvo Pärt’s Fratres.

This concert is free and open to the public.

Seattle concert

Joshua will be performing a solo piano recital in Redmond, Washington, consisting of works by Chopin, Rameau, Price, and Rachmaninov. This is event is free and open to the public.

Quartet for the End of Time

The Ocotillo Chamber Series continues with Olivier Messiaen’s monumental Quatuor pour la fin du temps (“Quartet for the End of Time”), which will be performed on Saturday., May 24 at 7pm, at St. Augustine’s Episcopal Church.

Ocotillo Chamber Series

98 DUO

The Ocotillo Chamber Series resumes this spring with a performance by the celebrated cello-and-piano duo, 98 Duo. The ensemble will perform a memorable concert of Familiar Tunes for Cello and Piano, with works by Bridge, Fauré, and Nadia Boulanger, on May 3, 2026. This is a free event, with encouraged donations.

In March, Joshua will be featured as collaborative pianist in the New Mexico Bach Society’s chamber orchestra performances of J.S. Bach’s Cantata BWV 21, “Ich hatte viel Bekümmernis” (I had much sorrow) and Aaron Alter’s newly commissioned work based on texts from Psalms 118 and 150. under the direction of Maestro Franz Vote. Joshua, along with Dr. Julia Lougheed, will be presenting a concert of repertoire for clarinet and piano, as part of the newly founded chamber concert series Ocotillo Chamber Series, on Saturday, November 9, at 7pm. The concert, which is free and open to the public, will take place at St. Augustine’s Episcopal Church, 1735 College Ave, in Tempe, Arizona and will consist of works by Debussy, Andres, Brahms, and Clara Schumann.

For the second concert of the Ocotillo Chamber Series, Joshua will be joined by Dr. Wesley Skinner, cello, and Dr. Julia Lougheed, clarinet, for a unioque performance of trios by Beethoven, Clara Schumann, and a world premiere by Ithaca-based composer Josh Oxford.
