Ocotillo Chamber Series

Joshua, along with Dr. Julia Lougheed, will be presenting a concert of repertoire for clarinet and piano, as part of the newly founded chamber concert series Ocotillo Chamber Series, on Saturday, November 9, at 7pm. The concert, which is free and open to the public, will take place at St. Augustine’s Episcopal Church, 1735 College Ave, in Tempe, Arizona and will consist of works by Debussy, Andres, Brahms, and Clara Schumann.

In March, Joshua will be featured as collaborative pianist in the New Mexico Bach Society’s chamber orchestra performances of J.S. Bach’s Cantata BWV 21, “Ich hatte viel Bekümmernis” (I had much sorrow) and Aaron Alter’s newly commissioned work based on texts from Psalms 118 and 150. under the direction of Maestro Franz Vote. Trio Concert                               

For the second concert of the Ocotillo Chamber Series, Joshua will be joined by Dr. Wesley Skinner, cello, and Dr. Julia Lougheed, clarinet, for a unioque performance of trios by Beethoven, Clara Schumann, and a world premiere by Ithaca-based composer Josh Oxford.
